Shangri-ZA

Find Your Center. Then Order Extra Cheese.

The pizza faithful bring their own kind of enlightenment to the arena. Find your center—and keep an eye on your order.

SHANGRI-ZA

Somewhere between enlightenment and the last delivery of the night lies Shangri-ZA—the Fast Food Nation's premier destination for pizza, inner peace, and grease-based spiritual awakening.

To the uninitiated, Shangri-ZA looks like a pizza franchise.

The uninitiated have much to learn.

Its followers believe the perfect pizza is more than food. It is a circle without beginning or end. The crust represents the boundary of mortal existence. The toppings represent life's infinite possibilities. The cheese binds all things together.

And the little plastic table in the middle?

Nobody knows. Its mysteries are not for us.

Under the mellow guidance of the ZA Man, Shangri-ZA's Associates seek harmony between mind, body, and appetite. Unfortunately, their interpretation of "harmony" includes enormous pizza cutters, improvised kitchen weaponry, experimental technology, and one extremely enthusiastic dog.

On the battlefield, Shangri-ZA turns chaos into opportunity. Its Associates manipulate positioning, disrupt enemies, and generally make the battlefield considerably greasier than it was when they arrived.

Take off your shoes. Clear your mind. Grab a slice.

The path to enlightenment is hot, fresh, and delivered in thirty minutes or less.

Meet the crew

ZA MAN

Manager • The Supreme Topping

Some say the ZA Man founded Shangri-ZA.

Others insist Shangri-ZA manifested around him after a particularly profound pizza.

He refuses to clarify.

Part guru, part restaurateur, and part man who has clearly spent too long staring into a commercial pizza oven, ZA Man teaches that all conflict comes from imbalance: too much hunger, too little cheese, uneven topping distribution.

When his Associates lose sight of the Path of the Pie, ZA Man descends from management to personally restore cosmic balance.

Usually with pepperoni.

To outsiders, his teachings sound suspiciously like the ramblings of someone who hasn't slept since Tuesday.

To his followers?

He speaks the sacred sauce.

"You do not choose the slice, my friend. The slice chooses you."

ZA MAN

ZIGGY

Runner • Delivering Good Vibes at Dangerous Speeds

Ziggy believes life is a journey.

He just prefers to complete it as quickly as possible.

As Shangri-ZA's Runner, Ziggy moves through the battlefield like a delivery driver whose tip depends entirely on ignoring traffic laws. Armed with his oversized ZA Cutter, he specializes in arriving suddenly, making several extremely persuasive cuts, and departing before anyone can harsh his mellow.

He's quick. He's slippery. He's enthusiastic.

Whether Ziggy actually knows where he's going is another question entirely.

He insists getting lost is simply "discovering an alternate destination."

"Whoa, dude. You were standing exactly where I was slicing."

ZIGGY

ZED

Kitchen Krew • Hand-Tossed Violence

Zed takes pizza preparation seriously.

Uncomfortably seriously.

Where lesser cooks see dough, Zed sees potential. Where they see a pizza cutter, he sees insufficient cutting capacity. And where most people would look at a circular saw and think construction equipment, Zed asks whether it can achieve a cleaner crust.

Thus was born the ZA Saw.

As Shangri-ZA's Kitchen Krew, Zed brings the quiet concentration of a master pizzaiolo to close combat. Every swing is measured. Every cut is deliberate. Every horrifying kitchen accident is apparently "part of the process."

Please keep hands and loose clothing away from the preparation area.

"Eight slices is a suggestion."

SCOOTY POO

Mascot • Who's a Good Boy? Not This One.

Every respectable restaurant needs a mascot.

Shangri-ZA has Scooty Poo.

A massive Great Dane with an enormous heart, questionable hygiene, and absolutely no understanding of personal space, Scooty bounds through battle spreading joy, confusion, and a mysterious slick substance everyone has mutually agreed not to investigate.

Scooty doesn't understand the Hangry Games.

Scooty doesn't understand corporate warfare.

Scooty barely understands doors.

But he knows his friends are playing outside, and HE IS VERY EXCITED TO HELP.

His custom Red Rocket ensures that wherever Scooty decides to go, everyone else has a compelling reason to reconsider standing there.

"WHO WANTS WALKIES?!"— approximately what everyone assumes Scooty is thinking

ZAPHNE

Security • Namaste Right There.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Plant your feet.

Now explain why you're trespassing.

Zaphne approaches franchise security with the serene confidence of someone who has achieved complete spiritual harmony and could absolutely fold you into a pretzel.

A wellness influencer turned Shangri-ZA protector, she teaches that the body is a temple, the mind is sacred, and unauthorized personnel must remain behind the designated line.

Her ZA Paddle may resemble an oversized pizza peel, but in Zaphne's hands it becomes an instrument of balance, redirection, and aggressive boundary-setting.

She doesn't lose her temper.

That would imply she needs one.

"I acknowledge your energy. I reject your proximity."

ZELMA

Cashier • She’ll Ring You Up. Eventually.

The register at Shangri-ZA has buttons for Cash, Credit, Doh!, Coupon, Other, and one Zelma added herself labeled “VIBES.”Nobody knows what it does.Zelma works the counter with the cheerful confidence of someone who considers the employee handbook more of a troubleshooting guide than a set of rules. Between orders, she can usually be found modifying the register, rerouting kitchen equipment, experimenting with sauces, or building something out of spare parts that absolutely did not need to become more complicated.Customers rarely receive exactly what they ordered. They do, however, frequently leave with something better, stranger, or faintly humming. When things get ugly, Zelma grabs her ZA Rocker and brings that same improvisational spirit to the battlefield. A problem is just a solution that hasn't been sufficiently tampered with yet.Management has repeatedly asked her to stop "improving" company property. She keeps improving the suggestion box.

“Your total is 8 Doh!… unless you wanna try something weird.”

SCRAPS

PR Enforcer • Inner Peace Has a Guard Dog

Shangri-ZA preaches acceptance.

Scraps handles the exceptions.

A towering porcine monument to muscle, machinery, chains, scars, and deeply suppressed emotional growth, Scraps serves as Shangri-ZA's PR Enforcer—the franchise's answer to situations that have evolved beyond ordinary customer service.

His job is technically to protect the reputation of Shangri-ZA.

His methodology tends to generate additional paperwork.

Beneath the armor, hoses, restraints, and industrial-grade attitude lies a creature who has embraced the franchise's philosophy in his own way. Scraps has found inner peace.

Unfortunately for everyone else, his inner peace appears to be extremely angry.

He doesn't say much. He doesn't need to.

When Scraps arrives, even the complaint department suddenly discovers enlightenment.

"Peace comes in many forms. Today, it comes with a chain."

HAVE YOU FOUND THE PATH OF THE PIE?

Shangri-ZA welcomes all seekers.

The hungry. The lost. The spiritually curious.People who accidentally wandered in because the restaurant next door was closed.

There are no wrong answers here.*

Only different toppings.

So center yourself. Gather your Associates. Prepare the sacred ingredients. Protect the Joint. And when the universe presents you with a difficult choice, remember the oldest teaching of Shangri-ZA:

When in doubt, add cheese.

SHANGRI-ZAOne Nation. Under ZA. Indivisible. With Garlic Butter for All.

^(Pineapple-related theological disputes remain under review by the Council of Crust. Please refrain from discussing them inside the Joint.)
